Its ups and downs for Dhanush, although the actor has bagged the prestigious National Award for his performance as KP Karupu in ‘Aadukalam’ he is not all smiles as his idol and father-in-law, Superstar Rajinikanth is ill.

Meanwhile, his forthcoming movie ‘Irandam Ulagam’ directed by his brother Selvaraghavan, who introduced Dhanush to the film industry, is already much-awaited and much-talked about.

Selvaraghavan’s movies do away from usual Kollywood scripts and have a unique appeal to them. They deal around a novel concept and etches human emotions, more importantly, the dark side of human emotions.

The Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that Dhanush dons the role of a doctor or a medical student in this movie. The actor has taken care and we can see him in a whole-new-avatar in this film as he sports a beard and glasses, with checked shirts and coats.

He is sharing screen space with Richa Gangopadhyay in this movie, who is also the lead lady of ‘Osthi’ with Simbu where the latter plays a cop.
